Whatcom Center for Early Learning provides comprehensive, family-centered early intervention services to children ages birth to three with special needs. At Whatcom Center for Early Learning (WCEL), parents choose the services that fit their child and family. Some families come to our Big Blue House every week to explore and learn in our therapeutic parent-child playgroups. In nice weather, playgroups are held outside in WCEL’s nationally-recognized outdoor play area. Because children learn best in a familiar environment, therapy sessions for speech and/or physical development often take place at home visits. Staff also provide treatment at childcare centers or other places in the community. Children of all abilities learn together in our Sensational Toddlers and Ferndale Toddler Time classes.

A great online educational experience is now possible for every child. Every day, great teachers are making a difference, but not everyone has access to a great education. With the global reach of the web and the power of software, DreamBox Learning delivers the effectiveness of great teachers to benefit any student, anytime, anywhere. We are successful educators, entrepreneurs, technologists, and creative designers. We're also parents with a passion for helping our children - and all children - succeed through effective web-based learning.

Our expert educators have created a deep, standards-based math curriculum with hundreds of interactive lessons. Our designers have wrapped those lessons in fun game-based adventures. And, most importantly, we don't just check the number of right answers at the end of a lesson to determine whether to promote a child to the next lesson as other "learning games" do. Instead, our powerful GuideRightTM technology constantly adapts and fine-tunes each lesson to best meet a child's unique needs and learning style, significantly increasing each child's success rate!
